Virtual consultations allow health professionals to hold remote asynchronous appointments with patients. Unlike real-time appointments, asynchronous appointments allow patients to submit information and respond over a period of time. This makes it a more robust and convenient interaction for both patients and clinicians.
Who it's for
Developed with input from NHS specialists, this service is designed to support health professionals with pre-appointment vetting, standard appointments and return outpatient appointments.
Virtual consultations can be used for a range of conditions and practice areas.
How it works
Health professionals invite patients to a digital appointment
Patients have a prolonged window of time where they can submit images, video, audio and other health data
Health professionals access a clinical dashboard where they can view and create appointments, message patients or refer patients to colleagues
Providers can also save appointment details and notes to the patient’s electronic health record
Virtual consultations can be managed directly via Lenus Health or via two way integration with an existing patient management system
Benefits
Health professionals can provide cost and time-efficient consultations, while maintaining a high standard of care.
Patients avoid the hassles involved with booking, travelling to in-person appointments and waiting on-site to be seen.
Cost
This service is available on a license basis for a minimum period of 12 months.
Exact costs depend on the number of patients and integrations with existing systems. This includes patient management systems (PMS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
