About the role

The primary role of the UK Strategic Partnership Manager is to establish and develop strategic partnerships that enable system-level Lenus product adoption to Integrated Care Systems, building relationships with C-suite level decision-makers in the NHS, pharma and platform partners to drive system- wide service improvements. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the Strategic Partnership Manager will be the commercial ‘linchpin’, co ordinating and directing Lenus resources to achieve long term commercial success.

Key deliverables include developing strong relationships with health system stakeholders at all levels, building relationships with pharmaceutical, medtech and digital platform companies to improve market access for Lenus and develop new channels to market for Lenus products in the UK.

The role will require the individual to gain an understanding of key business drivers that influence purchasing decisions and the utility of strategic and tactical partnerships to improve market penetration. You will be responsible for reviewing feasibility of new markets and their potential growth opportunities, as well as delivering tangible results and high sales revenue utilising pricing and marketing of Lenus products and pathways.

  • Seek business partnerships and collaborative, joint- working opportunities across the NHS and private sector. Understand current reimbursement pathways and identify and unlock new sources of funding for digital health solutions
  • Develop strong strategic relationships with commissioners and service providers at a system level
  • Successfully translate changes in national and regional policy, acute care, Integrated Care Systems & Health Boards into sustainable, profitable, business opportunities for Lenus products
  • Scale new commercial models and end-to-end pathways from existing and emerging digital health technologies
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of broader market dynamics and public health policies that frame the business context both present and future. 
  • Work in close collaboration with the Sales Director, Business Development Manager and the Lenus Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with customers to build business cases to drive adoption of Lenus solutions

Qualifications, skills, and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience) in Business / Biology / Pharmacy
  • Experience in sales, business development, or channel partnership role, with proven record of performing successfully to sales targets
  • Career-level sales account managers who are seasoned, experienced and able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways
  • Strong business acumen with deep understanding of the NHS structure and current healthcare landscape in the UK
  • Experience with NHS business case templates
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams within a matrixed organisation
  • Experience in working with software-based products with the capacity to understand and explore our platforms fully
  • Ability to expertly handle multiple ongoing projects with strong organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend events
