Lenus recognised in Department for International Trade 'First 100' Digital Health Playbook
Storm ID, the developer of the Lenus Health Platform, has been recognised as a leading digital health innovator in the Department for International Trade’s ‘First 100’ Digital Health Playbook.
The ‘First 100’ playbook recognises UK digital health companies who are committed to export and international expansion. The playbook will be used by the Department for International Trade to promote the UK companies to international buyers.
Inclusion in the playbook, which was launched by Dr Mike Short CBE, Chief Scientific Adviser at the Department for International Trade, followed a rigorous selection process. The companies were judged on a range of criteria including how committed they were to export and international expansion, their responsiveness, their ethics and values, track-record of working collaboratively with Healthcare UK, the global uniqueness of their innovation, and how well they represent the UK journey and direction in digital health, particularly with the NHS.
The Lenus platform and services, which are referenced in the playbook, securely combines patient-generated healthcare data from devices, sensors and wearables with healthcare data in clinical systems.
Combining data allows AI and machine learning to be applied, generating new insights that allow for modernisation of care pathways.
Through EHR integration and clinical dashboards, connected data is used to help develop and train algorithms. The algorithms interpret the data, prioritise risk and offer decision support to care teams, resulting in increased patient engagement, improved outcomes and reduced costs to healthcare organisations.

Being recognised by Healthcare UK and the Department for International Trade as one of the ‘First 100’ UK digital health innovators is a great acknowledgment as we take the Lenus Health Platform and services international. The recognition and support is greatly appreciated.
