Minister of State Andrew Stephenson Visits Lenus Health to Discuss AI in Healthcare

Lenus Health welcomed Minister Andrew Stephenson to showcase AI breakthroughs for chronic conditions.

Lenus was honoured to welcome Andrew Stephenson, Minister of State in the Department of Health and Social Care, to our Edinburgh office on January 5th. The visit focused on discussing the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, particularly in relation to chronic conditions and how digital diagnostics pathways can reduce time to diagnose.

Minister Stephenson’s visit provided an opportunity for him to gain a deeper understanding of how Lenus Health's AI can enhance the management of patient pathways, outcomes, and productivity, particularly for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other chronic conditions.

Chronic conditions are at the heart of the challenges within the NHS and we were delighted to share an industry view point on how technologies such as AI and digital tools can help patients with Minister Stephenson.

Paul McGinness, CEO of Lenus Health

The discussions were insightful and productive, highlighting the shared commitment of Lenus Health and the Department of Health and Social Care to leverage innovative technologies for the improved healthcare delivery and better patient outcomes.
